A Bit of Housekeeping

Three weeks ago, I introduced N of 1 to the world. It has been a lot of fun and a bit more time consuming than originally thought. But I really enjoy the feedback (both positive and negative) that everyone is offering and hopefully grow this into something that people look forward to. Tell a friend about it, hell, tell all your friends about it.

Speaking of looking forward to: I ask that everyone to scroll down on the main page to “Follow My Blog”, enter your email and hit subscribe. Then every time a new article is posted, you will receive an email. Simple.

I will start profiling a different runner each week. If you feel that you have a great story to be “profiled” or know of some one that would make good reading, reach out to me and let me know.

Starting next Friday, every Friday I will be asking for pictures of a particular aspect of running. Then, at the end of the month, everyone can vote on that month’s best picture and the person who submitted it will win valuable prizes (actually, it will probably be only one prize, and most likely, it will be a t-shirt).

If anyone has read Brett Mason or Jim Lear’s articles, and thinks they would like to guest write a story or be a regular contributor, please let me know.

Also, as soon as my tech support (daughter, Emma) helps me out, we will start a merchandise page. It will consist of mainly t-shirts with some different pearls of wisdom on them.

Finally: Do you know what the difference is between a guy who runs 20 mile a week and a guy who runs 70 miles a week is? The guy who runs 20 miles a week has much better excuses.

  1. While not a runner myself I am really enjoying this blog. I especially enjoyed the Brett Mason article. We can all draw parallels to the way he trains and strategized his races. Thanks Tony for starting this blog and keep up the great content
